The bi-annual Languages and Media Conference will be held in Berlin in October 2010. The conference program is now available on the Languages and the Media website.

Developers Samuel Sirois and Denis Boudreau have launched DISTCHA, an accessible CAPTCHA that determines if you are a human by asking you to slide an icon across the screen with either the mouse or keyboard.

The American Council of the Blind is hosting an audio description conference from 12-14 July. The physical conference is in Florida, but there is a virtual option (at a cost of US$95) for those that can’t make it to Miami.
