Audio description (AD) is a service for people who are blind or vision impaired and has been adopted into the mainstream in both the United Kingdom and North America. This service has not yet developed in Australia to anywhere near the same extent.

This week on Vision Australia Radio Roberta Ashbury spoke with Media Access Australia (MAA) Cinema and DVD Project Manager Ally Woodford about some bits and pieces of news from around the world.
